GREENS REPORT

  July/August 2010

 Greens

All greens need to be sprayed for disease: this will hopefully be done soon. Both courses are now being cut at 4mm on a daily basis.

During this recent spell of wet weather it has improved the dry patches on the Championship Course.

Both sets of greens are going to be spiked and top dressed as from 24th July weather permitting.

 Fairways

All fairways are being cut twice a week.

 Tees/Surrounds

Tees are being cut as required, and surrounds twice a week.  They are divoted on a daily basis. The Championship greens have just been fertilized and are now to be sprayed for weeds

 Bunkers

Sanding of bunkers continues with another recent delivery of sand. All bunkers are raked twice a week.

 Rough/Semi Rough

All rough is being cut once a week and twice in some areas.

 Paths

All paths have been sprayed for weeds.

 Irrigation

Some of the damaged sprinklers are being replaced and some bursts being repaired.
